1st Day: Arrival
Arrival of the participants at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Time at disposal. Accommodation in the reserved rooms in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
 
2nd day: Padova and Arquà Petrarca
Guests arrive to Padova, and spend the whole morning visiting the city; once they are in the centre, they will see the Palazzo della Ragione, the Battistero which has some beautiful frescos painted by Giusto de’ Menabuoi, the Scrovegni Chapel, completely decorated by Giotto, and the monument dedicated to Gattamelata, a work of art sculptured by Donatello, the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, where there are the Bronzed Statues of Donatello. Lunch break. In the afternoon the guests will visit the enchanting little Medieval village of Petrarca, where the poet Petrarca lived. In the evening guests will be taken back to the hotel where they will eat and spend the night.
 

3rd day: the Brenta Riviera and Venice
After breakfast in the hotel, guests will take the coach to Strà and visit the Royal Palace of Strà, which, for its imposing beauty, reminds of Versailles… Some of the rooms are decorated by Tiepolo. Following the Brenta Riviera, it will be possible to visit many other villas and ancient Palaces belonging to the Venetian Patrician families. In the evening guests will return to the hotel where they will have dinner and spend the night.
 

4th day: Treviso
After lunch in the hotel, guests will leave for Treviso, visit the city and the Duomo with its beautiful façade and Baptistery which dates back to the XI century and shows frescos and Byzantine style decorations. In the main square there are many Palaces to be admired, including the Torre Campanaria and the Palazzo dei Trecento. Lunch in one of the many rustic “bacari” where it is possible to taste the local aperitif (spritz) and snacks. In the afternoon the guests will visit a wine farm and in the evening they will go back to the hotel, have dinner and spend the night.

5th day: return home
After breakfast guests will leave for their journey home.
