1st Day: ARRIVAL
Arrival of the participants, meeting with our Customer Assistant and transfer by 1st class air conditioned Gran Tourism Coach, to the hotel for accommodation in the reserved rooms. Spare time and overnight stay.

2nd Day: FERRARA
After breakfast in hotel meeting with our Customer Assistant and our Touristic Guide and transfer to Ferrara and meeting with our touristic guide for a full day visit of this both medieval and renaissance town: Marfisa Palace of Este a 16th century residence with its frescoes; Schifanoia Palace, the older residence of the ducal Este family containing 15th century paintings, today Museum of ancient art. Nice walk through the medieval street as far as to Market Square where you can see the Palace Marchionale – today city council – and the Cathedral, an excellent Romanesque and Gothic style union. Free time in the afternoon for lunch, not included but organised on request in typical restaurant. In the afternoon visit to ducal Este family Castle and short walk to Palace of Diamonds and Ariostea Square, in the heart of the Renaissance town. In the way back to the hotel, panoramic tour by coach around the surrounding walls of Ferrara. Return to the hotel for dinner, relax and overnight stay.

3rd Day: RAVENNA
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our Customer Assistant and our Touristic Guide, transfer to Ravenna and full day visit of the city. Ravenna is the city of art, culture, mosaics and, 1.500 years ago, three times empire capital: the western Roman empire, Theodoric king of the Goths and the Byzantine Empire in Europe. The magnificence of that period has left Ravenna with a huge quantity of monuments and religious buildings decorated with breathtaking mosaics declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The mosaics art is not born in Ravenna but here it found its greatest level of expression, in fact this is the birthplace for Christian iconology, a mixture between symbolism and realism influenced by Roman and Byzantine culture. The most picturesque monuments: Gallia Placidia Mausoleum famous for its mosaics; Cathedral Baptistery the older Ravenna monuments; Basilica of Sant’Apollinare built in the 6th century but originally Theodoric Palatinate church. In the afternoon free time for lunch (not included but organised on request in typical restaurant). In the afternoon visit to the Theodoric Mausoleum built by himself as his tomb around 520 a.c.; Basilica of San Vitale – an octagonal plan church – is among the most important monuments of early Christian art in Italy, especially for the splendour of its mosaics. Last stop will be to the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe, one of the most perfect Basilicas in Ravenna. In the evening transfer to the hotel for dinner, relax and overnight stay.

4th Day: VENICE
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our Customer Assistant and our Touristic Guide, transfer to Venice and visit to the city. Piazza San Marco (St. Mark Square) is the only square in Venice that can be called Piazza, while all other squares are called Campi; Palazzo Ducale, the government symbol of the Republic of Venice; Basilica of St. Mark; Ponte dei Sospiri or Bridge of Sighs, connects the Palazzo Ducale to the New Prisons; Ponte di Rialto, the Bridge of Rialto, become immortal by Shakespeare in the “Merchant of Venice“, are just a few of the most famous Venetian symbols. Free time in the afternoon for lunch, not included but organised on request in typical restaurant. In the afternoon beautiful and tasty food and wine “Spuncioti” degustation in typical “bacaro”, venetian pub. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner, relax and overnight stay.

5th Day: RETURN
After Breakfast in hotel, free time and departure.
