1st Day: Verona
Arrival of the participants, meeting with our Customer Assistant and transfer by 1st class air conditioned Gran Tourism Coach, to the hotel for accommodation in the reserved rooms. Spare time and overnight stay.
 
2nd Day: Verona
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our Customer Assistant and our Touristic Guide, and whole day spent visiting the city of Romeo and Juliet. We will visit all the most famous monuments of the city such as the Amphitheatre, called Arena, the Arco dei Gavi and Porta Borsari both dated back to the I century A.D. In the afternoon free time for lunch (not included but organised on request in typical restaurant). Free time in the afternoon for shopping or relax. In the evening transfer to the hotel and overnight stay
         
3rd day:Venice, the city of Marco Polo
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our Customer Assistant and our Touristic Guide, and whole day spent visiting the city of Marco Polo visiting the most famous monuments and squares such as St. Mark’s Cathedral, the Bridge of Sighs, the Bridge of Rialto. In the afternoon free time for lunch (not included but organised on request in typical restaurant). Spare time in the afternoon for shopping and walking around the famous Venetian “Calli”. In the early evening return to Tronchetto by motor boat and then by bus to the hotel for dinner and relax.

4th day: Po Delta Park / Botanical Garden and excursion by boat
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our Customer Assistant and our Touristic Guide, transfer to Porto Caleri and visit of the Botanical Garden, situated in almost 24 hectares among beach, dunes, depressed areas and lagoons where it is possible to see the evolution of the area thanks to the effects of the “big river Po”. In the afternoon free time for lunch (not included but organised on request in typical restaurant). In the afternoon guided excursion by boat along one of the most fascinating branches of the Po River, during which it will be possible to see the typical landscape of the Po Delta (water birds, flora and fauna). The excursions on boat are enchanting to discover the Po Delta and the magic of canes fields, sand banks and lagoons, that are in a context of natural rare beauty where the rhythm is always slow. Guests will be astonished by the big variety of habitat of this extreme border of the Padana plain: areas still untouched of the primitive Mediterranean bush alternate with littoral lagoons and brackish areas. An infinite range of sounds and colours that excite the lovers of the bicycle, trekking, canoe and bird watching! Po Delta is the unique environmental richness of the youngest land of Italy. At the end of the excursion, visit to the Reclamation Museum where guests could see the big water pump dating back to the late 19th century. It is important to remember that during the Middle Age the Adriatic Sea washed Adria but during the following century “many pumps and water tanks” were used to reclaim unproductive Isles and to turn them into cultivable lands. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

5th Day: Ravenna
After breakfast in hotel, meeting with our Customer Assistant and our Touristic Guide, and whole day spent visiting the city most important monuments: Mausoleum of Gallia Placidia, the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare, built in the 6th century. In the afternoon free time for lunch (not included but organised on request in typical restaurant). In the afternoon visit to the Mausoleum of Theodoric and the Basilica of San Vitale which is an octagonal plan church and one of the most famous monument of the early Christian-Art in Italy. The magnificence of 5th century A.D. has left Ravenna with a great heritage of monuments and religious buildings decorated with mosaics which have been declared patrimony of humanity by Unesco. The art of mosaics was not born in Ravenna but here it found its greatest level of expression, a mixture of symbolism and realism, of Roman and Byzantine influence. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

6th Day: departure
After breakfast departure of the guests.
